The Perfect Blog Post (Quick Research Methods)

Writing the perfect blog post is a matter of selecting the right topics, doing original research, and writing helpful and original content. One of the questions I get the most is how to do high-quality original research while still writing a lot of content quickly. So today I'm accepting a challenge, to research and write a blog post in under 1 hour. I'll show you exactly what I'm doing for research as I go!

I write in a similar fashion, but every so often I get stuck on an essential figure or fact that just takes forever to verify. It is even worst when there are conflicting sources because then I need to spend time figuring out which source is correct, or maybe they both are. A lot of bloggers and writers just make stuff up so it always pays to double check and that takes time.

I am already very experienced in my field, but unless I am sharing an opinion I probably spend three times longer researching than actually writing.
