Columbia University Expels Student Protesters

Columbia University will now expel students who are occupying Hamilton Hall. Last night, protesters broke into a building on campus and then vandalized it before blockading entrances. The University says that they have also begun suspending students who haven’t left the encampment yet. Saying that they have been given the opportunity to leave peacefully and that these actions are now in response to the actions of protesters, not their cause. Also saying that the encampments have created a threatening environment for many Jewish students, are a noisy distraction, and also a Title 9 violation.

I heard about one of the universities had a Christian club open their doors for the Jewish students to come in and be safe. They walked the Jewish students around and threatened to beat the hell out of anyone who tried to hurt them. Based as hell.

this hall has been occupied at least 6 times in the last 50 years by protesters over things like Vietnam and Apartheid. This a Colombia tradition at this point

The way I understand is that school did nothing to stop this protest... after this all is over and bills need to be paid... sure schools are going to try have taxpayers pay for it... I am tired of this... maybe insurance might pay... maybe fine people involved... maybe the head of the school should pay... I would like to see restitution from people involved.
