NEW Covergirl Clean Fresh Yummy Gloss Review

Found a drugstore gem!! I had been interested in the new @covergirl clean fresh yummy glosses for a bit but when my friend @RudiBerry reviewed them, I knew I had to pick some up.

These feel almost exactly like the Make Beauty serum balms - cushiony and gel like but buttery and lightweight on the lips. Like a lip serum meets a lip butter. They feel hydrating on the lips but due to the nature of how slippy they are, they don’t last long (which doesn’t bother me)

They smell like fruity candy to me but I believe there are three scents total depending on what shade you get. I would’ve loved a more flexible applicator, I find the stiffness of the applicator a little annoying but it doesn’t really matter.

My main complaint is that I couldn’t get the shade glamingo pink open. It’s literally fused shut, I tried to use a wrench and everything. If you look at the reviews, a lot of people are having the same issue so heads up on that!

i just got the color but first a cosmo and i love it!! my lips get really cry and cracked so i've been putting vaseline on them but it's not too cute to whip out my little container of them but these😤😤😤 my lips feel so soft and they haven't dried up 🩷🩷

i know it’s her opinion but the applicator isn’t really just “hard” 😭 it’s nice asf actually and one of the reasons i’d purchase the product again .

tip to getting a twist lid/cap to open: use a rubber band and tie it around the lid, not the body. when you twist to open, it should open easily!

I have purchased all the yummies collection, love this product . The only con I can mention would be, they are very hard to open.

Makeup influencer Julia Adams said they are gross. When she talked they stuck to her lips and did that stringy thing that happens when gloss is too sticky.
