The first chicken I hatched was taking hours to get out of the egg. He was making cracks and stuff but I got nervous so I chipped a few egg shells away and he came right out! I think he might have been stuck or something. But now I have a flock of ducks and 5 chickens!

I had a mother duck lay her eggs underneath my house she would sit on them day and night one day she was not in my yard or on her nest unfortunately I found her dead something killed her coyote perhaps I have eight eggs two unfortunately did not survive they're about 2 weeks in and I believe I have two weeks left. I've been incubating them and I believe they are about to hatch in less than a week. I don't know what to do LOL I had to make sure at least some of these babies survived she was the sweetest duck ever and deserved to be a mom and it was taken from her. Hopefully at least a couple of these eggs survive. But I hope I can find a sanctuary that will take them. In the state that I am they're invasive.. but other states such as Texas or New Mexico these are protected. Big or small we are here to try to help them all.

What can i do: My duckling came out of its shell yesterday morning since
a day and a half ago. It has not eaten or drank water since yesterday.
what can i do to make it eat and rink. though she is still wobbly on his
feet. Please help, thank you!
