The first part of your video was incorrect. The video was showing the cobalt blue tarantula, but the brighter blue tarantula was a gooty sapphire. The gooty if from India and is considered to be the most venomous tarantula in the old world species.

I used to keep tarantulas. Wish I hadn't watched this, I miss them now. Also I'm American but I used to live in north west Australia. I've seen some pretty big spiders. But the wildlife in Australia Is all pretty awesome! I also lived right on the Indian ocean. I learned how to dive and snorkel while I was there. There was always at least half a dozen sharks swimming around you. I guess when you get used to swimming with sharks spiders aren't that scary anymore!

We have encountered quite a few camel spiders in South Africa in at least the past 30 years (personal experience). The last encounter was 3 weeks ago when my son caught one that he wanted to keep as a pet, I forced hom to ste it free though... they freak me out!

I can’t take this video serious after watching the first Tarantula you mention. cobolt blue C. Lividus. You literally talk about a cobolt blue but mix in two different totally different Tarantulas. You show a cobolt blue and then plasm In a P. Metallica many times. (The blue and white one) these are two totally different tarantulas. I’m is a fossorial burrowing T and the other an arboreal tree dwelling T from different areas. Hard to have an educational video that doesn’t even recognize the T they are taking

also I was too young to remember, but I went to greece either Kos or Rhodos, dont remember and me and my parents were about to leave, so we were waiting for a taxi in the hotel lobby and I wanted to go to the bathroom. Sadly I had to go to the women's bathroom since there was a decently sized tarantula at the entrance to the men's bathroom

This is a horrible compilation of random spider videos. Many not even of the species being discussed. Scientific names are very important for distinguishing one from another as many tarantulas have the same common names or have several they are known by. Many of the "facts" are incorrect or exaggerated. When measuring leg span, you measure diagonally leg span (dls). If you want accurate information and videos of these amazing creatures, please watch reputable tarantula and arachnid keepers. There are many good ones out there. This is not one of them.
