Costco Mohawk Flooring Overview and Tips for buying!

Do you love Costco? Well I do! Here I do an overview of some Mohawk flooring I purchased through Costco- $2/sf!!

Bought 300 square foot of Mohawk home. Great price at Costco and is a great product. 12mm thick with pad attached. You can not cut this with a knife. Must have a saw or cutter. Great looking floor once completed. I would highly recommend.

So how is it holding up? Did you try to mop it with water?

We used to install Hardwood floors and later this stuff, I personally think buying some Satin Poly and covering the whole floor would ensure water couldn't get in the cracks, because I have heard this stuff is not really Waterproof as the claim. Their OUT on replacing it is if you had it joined tighter it would not have gotten down in their.

Sean, thanks for the detailed video, I’m interested in learning what was used on the outside corner of the bottom steps? I’m getting ready to install this. Was it another piece of stair nose? And before the stair nose was applied was each step cut back to a true 90 for the riser and step without and step overhang?

How is it looking now? Did you also put the PV foam and caulk underneath the floor board? I just purchased this product and am also thinking of renting it out, but am concerned about the water damage element. Looks great, by the way!

Another YT Channel soaked a piece of this Mohawk Wood Laminate flooring in water, for 4 days, with zero difference in the thickness, afterwards! Amazing!

Wood laminate flooring? Never heard of it put in that terminology. Is it wood or is it laminate.

I have a contractor who ripped me off by charging me 5500 to remove and install 790 sqf of flooring. I picked vinyle waterproofing.
