Any abandoned plot points Ninjago should explore in Dragons Rising? 👀

Just think about this: there's a reason those "abandoned plotlines" were abandoned in the first place. It's pretty ambitious to want to tie up loose ends with a brand new plotline in the mix as well. All I can say is a MASSIVE good luck to the writers. They're gonna need it given the things the fandom wants to see that haven't been resolved.

This seems like a pretty good idea! This rewards us older fans for sticking with the show, with the writers bringing back some older, popular plot points, while keeping the show fresh and new enough so that new fans can pick up the show without being overwhelmed. Bringing back older plot points would encourage newer fans to watch the previous series, but doesn't force them to (as there is a LOT of content in the two previous series of Ninjago)

Hear me out. The way this new director is speaking about Ninjago is really hearwarming. I don't want to jump into conclusion before season's premiere, but I got this feeling that it's gonna be really good if he's in charge

If they touch on Nadakhan, it'd have to be centred around Jay and Nya. I'd want them to bring back Nadakhan in a season where maybe they have a kid. Have Nadakhan go after the kid and give Jay the devolpment he needs. A season where Nadakhan returns, wants revenge on Jay, goes after his kid, and Jay and Nya get characters together to defeat him. It could also be a season that focuses less on the newer characters, Arin, Sora, whoever else they'll introduce, and focuses more on the originial six. I don't like the coming and going idea, because I feel like they're could be cons to that, but a season where you have the all six orginial season, get the Hagmen brothers back, and make a season that centers more around them, but Jay and Nya spceifically. If they wanted to do a season with all the characters they've had in the series thusfar, the Hagmen brothers always did the best job of any of the writers by giving all the characters a purpose in the story. The Time Twins are villains who could wound up being the big villains of the season. I was hoping Crystilized would do that, but I was fine with it being the Overlord. The Time Twins are villains that you could build up through hints and maybe post credit scenes in thee final of seasons and build them up in a Thanos like way. Dragons Rising is more than just the rising and saving of dragons. I think it's also talking about the fact that when this series wraps up, the new characters they've introduced will be the main characters of the series that follows Dragons Rising. In my opinion, making the big bad guys of this series the Time Twins is a perfect way to tie up the lose ends of Masters of Spinjitzu and be a perfect way to end Dragons Rising. Whatever series comes after Dragons Rising will probably be the last we'll ever see of the orginial six.

My favorite part about Dragons Rising being a different show is that Ninjago isn't just a show anymore, it's a whole franchise

I'll really love this idea very much, all I want is not to marginalize the role of the 6 original ninjas. I mean that the idea of not being the main characters as I used to see them since I was 4 y.o hurts my heart a lot, I hope we can see them in the future without marginalizing them ;)

Naddakan basically already returned because in the first episode of prime empire clutch powers opened the teapot of tyran and then there was a poof which kind of looked like Naddakan teleporting so we might see him soon.

That is actually pretty cool that theyr e gonna tackle older storylines. Im very excited because they are really trying to hit the balance between making a show new viewers can pick up and for the long time fans to enjoy as well.

I’m glad doc seems to have such a good grasp on world building and storytelling. Tommy is incredibly human and terrible at social media. And he’s not the best when it comes to storytelling on his own. But the fact that Doc is head of everything and has helped on things like fucking Vox Machina, really gives me hope. And he’s been apart of Ninjago for years now so he’s intimate with the show we love. I actually have a lot of hope that this show will go from an ok show with so much potential that it makes the show enjoyable (aka fandom and aus etc) to a great show that has so much potential as well. Goes into building a world that people want to play in too, ya know? And doc’s worked on a show based around dnd, so he has to understand the joy in that aspect. In having the stories be satisfying and still letting the fandom build and play off it, which has really been what allowed there to be a fandom in the first place

I hope for Jay and Nya wedding, Jay inheritance, Jay going to look for his birth mom, maybe at first trying to help Arin look for his parents, and maybe some Zane stuff too? And maybe throw in some Cole stuff with his mom and Grandfather too.
