€2 Sicilian Street Food Hunt in Palermo (FULL DAY OF EATING!) 🇮🇹

Sicily is often overlooked in terms of Italian cuisine, with the likes of Milan and Rome stealing the culinary spotlight. But when it comes to street food, Palermo has some hidden gems on offer.

With everyone from the Greeks, to the Arabs, and even the Spanish controlling the volcanic island over the years, the volcanic island offers some truly diverse food.

Beginning my full day of eating in the boss's market (mercato del capo), I soon realised how affordable it also was - with nothing costing more than €2.

Whether it be the local caffe granita, sfincionello Palermitano (Sicilian pizza), arrancino, or indeed my absolute favourite - cannoli - it was proof that you could eat well on a budget (even in Europe!).

I don't think I spent more than €20 eating some of Sicily's best street food in a full day of eating in Palermo - a truly incredible experience!
