A Look Inside John Travolta's Airport Mansion

Welcome back, Richest fans! Once a person becomes uber-wealthy, they tend to pick up an expensive hobby to go with it. For actor John Travolta, that just happens to be private jets. It’s pretty handy he has a massive net worth! In fact, the licensed pilot loves planes so much that he even bought a Florida house that contains its own airport! Today, we’re going to look at this mansion as well as the fly-in community it's based within. On top of that, we’ll examine some of the planes that the Pulp Fiction thespian has owned throughout his life.

We start off by examining the community Travolta resides within, the Jumbolair Airport. From its history, to how it’s currently for sale and worth millions of dollars! Next, we see the household Travolta built with his late-wife, Kelly Preston. We’ll see all the facts and features including the taxiway that leads to their front door! We’ll then delve into the private jets Travolta has owned. Starting with the Boeing 707 model. It was previously operated up Qantas Airline before Frank Sinatra purchased it. We then have the Bombardier Challenger 601 that Travolta first received in 2011. It coincided with an ambassador role with the manufacturers for Travolta. Then there’s the Gulfstream II jet that almost resulted in a terrible accident! Finally, we’ll briefly look at one of the most expensive airports in the world, the Beijing Daxing International Airport in China.

I live in Ocala and you can actually see him around sometimes. I met him at target once and he was really cool, they also have regulated drag racing competitions and displays on the runway. It’s very cool

I live about 10 mins from him, He's such a humble and caring guy. Goes out in public and doesn't mind talking to his fans long as you don't bum rush him

I use to live in the flight path of that airport in NE Ocala. You knew when John was flying in/out especially with the 707. The airport also host the "wanna go fast" 1/2mi races over a 3 day week usually x2 a year and spectators are allowed in for a nominal fee. The airpot neighborhood is truly unique and awesome.

I live in Ocala, FL. I would drive by Jumbolair and you could tell John was home because you could see the top of that Quantas V jet plane. I found a dirt backroad that ended up near his backyard. I climbed up this wooden fence and looked over and his house was right there. It was beautiful. That was about 10 years ago. They’ve built some more houses there so you can’t see his plane anymore from the highway.

I was actually at the auction of the replica of the motorcycle and helmet he wore during the movie Wild Hogs with Martin Lawrence and Tim Allen. The theme was called "A night at Casablanca." He wasn't there for obvious reasons, but like we said, "the show must go on", the place was packed with locals and visitors as far as other states flying into Jumbolair that evening. From the actual hall, you can see his mansion. It was awesome. Ocala welcomed Travolta and family with open arms.
