The area is also known for its Free-spirited Venice Boardwalk and also is the site of funky shops, street performers, and colorful murals. Santa Monica to Venice has more than its fair share of Homeless people and is often called The Skid Row on the Beach. You will see many homeless encampments in my video. Hopefully one day we can solve this homeless problem. There’s also a skate park and Muscle Beach outdoor gym. If you skate you must visit Santa Monica To Venice. this area is the home of skateboarding and the mecha that must be visited by all who skate. I was born and raised with Dog Town Skates. I grew up in Venice in the 70's, 80's, and 90's. So much has changed. There were always homeless people, no beach bums. Now the homeless have taken over which doesn't really surprise me. Still feels like home when I visit. The best place to grow up in. The beach was like my back yard play ground as a child. Awesome place to have lived. I see the Bank of America is still there, that's one of the view things that has not changed

I always thought highly of Venice Beach until I started watching your channel. I can’t believe that the residents would put up with all of the homeless people’s tents. I visited San Diego last year and didn’t see any of this. The squatters even moved in to the handball courts it looks like. Somebody needs to get a pair of balls and clean this mess up. This can’t be legal.
