"You can't be bullied by a cellist!" I laughed so hard.

Paul Bettany had such a sad childhood. Not sure if Stephen knew, but Paul’s younger brother died shortly before he dropped out of school. I wouldn’t hold that against Paul, but life choices are what you make out of it and Paul made the best one at that time.

Tobias Menzies certainly made the role his own, but I often wonder how Paul Bettany would have been as Philip in Seasons 3 and 4 of The Crown…(he was the original choice).

As someone who is just a little younger than Paul Bettany and also from the U.K. it annoys me somewhat when Brits go on USA chat shows and just laugh along with the host’s incorrect statements about our country. At that time in the U.K. leaving school at 16 was still a perfectly normal occurrence, so much so that if you decided to do the two further years of education (which was, by law, optional) it was referred to as ‘staying on’. Leaving school at 16 for someone of Paul’s age wouldn’t be anything of note over here and would never have been referred to as dropping out.

I wish Stephen would do another show where he has full 30 mins 60 mins with people similar to like Graham Norton so you could have people out longer. Stephen has that ability.

After what Andrew Garfield said about not being in No Way Home, you can never be sure whether or not an actor is telling the truth about their appearance. I can’t tell what’s real anymore.

Why would we believe the same guy who teased he loved working with this actor in the WandaVision finale? 🤣🤣🤣He’s such a tease! And a talented actor; would love to see him back as White Vision somehow in the future

That's probably one of the most normal late night talk show interviews I saw. Not much scripting yet entertaining.

One of most delightful interviews on the show!

The Vision character has been seriously underdeveloped and underused in the MCU. Bettany is a talented actor.
