A new overlocker

I was shopping at Aldi and saw what I thought was a Coverstitch machine, but it was just an overlocker... a very nice one.

Am excited to receive my stirling edging machine tomorrow. It will be my first time to thread and use the machine. Hope the seller will guide me how to thread the edging machine...

Just realised that a couple of screws of the lower shaft were loose, tightened them and now it works fine, this is the black edition overlocker, was worried at first that the needle bar was not going to work but it did, good reasonably priced overlocker.

Any chance you have a video of how to thread this specific machine?? It doesn’t specify what order to thread it and I just can’t get it to work! (Just a beginner)

its a pretty good overlocker, I got my overlocker really cheap and its perfect. especially with the hem cutting guide

The heaviness of it reminds me of the industrial overlockers I have used. It looks solid and sees well. Although the thread cutter seems to pull a bit, causing a bit of puckering. Thanks for the review!

William, you wouldn’t know the distance of the left or right needle from the throat plate when the needle bar is at its highest point?, the timing is out a bit, it might be 4 or 5 millimetres, just on the off chance, regards David. It’s the same overlocker as yours.
