I use my denim jacket on light weather days, my suede jacket for windy days, my wool peacoat for rainy days, and my shearling coat for those late snowy days/ below freezing weather.

Truly love the jackets, all of them. If I had to chose though, my personal favorite would be the Cafe Racer, and a very close second would be the bomber.

I rock straight Cafe Racers at any climate, heavy cowhide and thicker lining on winter, fall and spring which in my city often feels like it's still winter, and a more lightweight lambskin light brown one on spring and even summer. However the climate is pretty fluctuating here where i live and frankly some days of summer it's pretty cold and heavy raining and on some days of winter the weather feels like i'm perfectly doing a BBQ outside. Depending on the climate here at any time of the year, i would go with:

Cafe racer: I would rather wear a pebbled cowhide one to any place, anytime, maybe avoid it on extreme heat and wear the light brown instead. All black Chuck Taylors or moc toe boots with flannel, same for denim, time tested outfits that just look rugged
Denim: Perfect for sunny days, where it might get windy later but still is not hot. I would prefer this and the Cafe Racer to wear on dates since it's pretty casual and rugged masculine, vintage wear
Bomber: The bomber i have is actually quite heavy on lining so i would wear it along a scarf and beanie to a particularly cold and windy day, like some 50 degrees or below, and since i don't like the way it is used by kids here in the city downtown (Totally casual with a baseball cap or stuff) i would prefer to wear it quite dressed up, with formal trousers.
Harringtons and fields, i personally don't have them and i don't find them fitting to my taste.

I would also like to mention that i would love to use a suede jacket on sunny days since the suede and lining of the one i have is extremely breathable and comfy on warm days, however since summer is usually rain season where i live, i would need to be careful not to wear it on a day when it might rain.

Denim jackets introduced long before Levi's in mid 60's. Just look some old B&W from movies from fifties or earlier. ;)

As a wannabe minimalist, I think that I'll get the most use out of The trucker and The bomber.
The bomber jacket used in this video is actually something that I've been looking for.

Yep, away with my heavy winter wool and quilted Barbour Jacket for the year, already got my lighter Harrington and Belstaff Field Jacket dusted and readied for Spring.

For a more dressed up look, I'll put on a Harris tweed sports coat instead of a light jacket. It's about as warm as several of the jackets mentioned (warmer than a trucker jacket, not as warm as a café racer). It's durable, and it stays warm even when it's damp.

I enjoy my Belstaff wax cotton H Racer Cardigan jacket, my Belstaff Parkham Racer, my bombers, and my Harrington. Don’t have much need to wear anything heavier in the South West Coast. My field jacket, winter jackets, and trench coat stay hung in the closet 99% time of the year. It is already t-shirt season early February. So light jackets are about it for me.
