It’s also a good alternative to the Storm Racer as a required seam-taped shell for 50k+ races. Seems to be the same fabric w different features. It doesn’t have pit zips but the pockets make it forgivable. I only count grams w race kit since every extra bit of weight is multiplied 3X when running, & when multiplied by 1500 steps/mile it adds up over hours. The neck laminate was perhaps left off since the tricot backer should be more comfy & durable than the older 2.5 layer H2No. All shells are now 3L to handle the infamous neck delaminating issues that kill most shells, especially if they aren’t washed regularly
