Karnataka Elections: BJP promises Uniform Civil Code, freebies in manifesto | Details

BJP released their election manifesto for the Karnataka assembly polls, which are to be held on May 10. Uniform Civil Code for the first time, freebies like cooking gas and milk are among the top promises that the BJP has claimed it will fulfil if it returns to power in the state. BJP President JP Nadda released the document in presence of CM Basavaraj Bommai, BS Yediyurappa in Bengaluru. It also promises to compile a National Register of Citizens (NRC) to ensure speedy deportation of all illegal immigrants in the state. Watch for more details.
