What if the Western Australians had beaten the Emus in the Great Emu War of 1932, but in doing so, drove the Emus to a point so desperate that they conquer the whole continent in retribution for the species which humans had driven to extinction?

As an Australian, I take solace in the fact we were speared of this horrific reality.

We take history for granted and incredulously ignorant of what could’ve been our drastic circumstances of day-to-day, that would’ve haunted our history forever. Hopefully, something as this delicate will never repeat itself again for our younger generations.

It’s time to learn and mitigate the relations between Australians and Emus to preserve peace. War is never the answer.🇦🇺❤️
