I am now 72 and I found out 5 years ago that I have ADHD. I can remember being 5 years old with anxiety and thinking everything was my fault. I’ve learned over the years tricks to get through life but nothing as wonderful as finding out why I feel and act this way. I’m glad you found it early.

Late diagnosed at 30. Its been a life changer in a lot of ways. Mostly because the self hatred has really gone down and the self compassion has gone up. Meds help too ❤

I found out at 58. I'm on the list for treatment now but it could be another 6+ months.

My cousin: You're here early.. I thought you said you have ADHD (works at the dentist lol)

Me: I do, that doesn't mean that I put my 3 PM appointment at 2:30 PM

I still don't know how to make my life manageable.

well if you were 21 you wouln’t have had 20 years of missed assignments. you weren’t in school at 1 and most people don’t start getting homework assignments until third grade at the earliest. so at best 13 years of missed assignments
