The Note 30 VIP is the best Infinix Note device yet, and I can go further to say it's actually the best Infinix device overall, trumping even the Zero series in performance thanks to the Dimensity 8050. That alongside a couple of amazing features like wireless and reverse wireless charging makes the Infinix Note 30 VIP really great value for money. It is a much more powerful device than the Infinix Note 30 Pro.

The price is insane here and it's offers way more value than Note 30 Pro. Excellent AMOLED 120Hz refresh rate display with even smaller bezels, JBL stereo sound, 12GB RAM, Dimensity 8050, premium design with glass and protection by Corning Gorilla Glass + IP53, 256GB internal storage + micfoSD expansion and even a headphone jack!

My only complain is the lack of a ultrawide camera, which is a downgrade from the original VIP.

About the 120W wired charging from the original VIP, well... I accept the trade for 68W wired + 50W wireless + reverse charging + bypass charging. 68W is fast enough for me.

In my opinion, this phone does deserve the VIP title, despite a few things.

I would like to see a comparison between Infinix Note 30 VIP and Tecno Camon 20 Pro 5G or Premier. Both have pretty similar specs and price tags.

Your reviews have gotten so much better! Wonderful job Izzi. Imo, Infinix are edging closer to the extreme value for money bracket. They should improve just a little more on their cost cutting aspects like their cameras and their ux.
It's high time we see a proper combo of the UW and a depth sensing unit at least, (if not a telephoto 😬😂 *obviously very unusual at their sub 300-400 usd price point*), nobody needs a macro or whatever other shitty ass lens they slap at the back. Or they could just do a bit more polishing on the software side.
Their UX on the other hand, is begging for a redefine, they've had that feel for years! *Those low budget, edgy shapes of animations*.Take the charging animation for example, it looks meh, nothing too bad, but it could use a bit of redefining. And also other little shapes of status bars and other things. Don't even get me started on bloatware and preinstalled crapware. I know I'm just nitpicking atp, and I barely say anything about Transission holdings devices, and tbh, I think they've finally started making big decisions that's qualifying for the global market, but if they want to compete on the global scale with the midrange gods, the likes of Redmi, bbk phones, heck! they need a bit more essence.

Infinix is doing what the good old days phone use to do for the consumer, good product at a good price point for anyone wanting to own a second phone for work or just a back up phone.

It kind of disappointing to me that I just got there infinix note 12 2023 on January and this phone offer so much more just 6 months later. I hope infinix release a even better phone next year, so that I maybe can plan to update my other working phone.

The JBL Sound can be better appreciated using Mid Range to High End headphones for cleaner, crisper sound. You forgot to mention that as its a selling point of this unit. A Sound Test using headphones could have been better too.
