Art Therapy Heals the Heart for Cancer Patients

Patients find a positive and creative outlet for their emotional pain through the Arts in Medicine program at UHealth. While participating in art therapy, cancer patients have even experienced lower blood pressure and a temporary distraction from their physical pain and nausea.
