What to do when buying an iphone13 as a traveler. When buying a new or used phone, should I purchase a locked iphone pro tied to a data plan or buy an unlocked iphone13 pro max with no data plan? Are there pros and cons to each? I will share some real World travel experiences and issues to help you decide from my life living, as a full time traveler. Hi Vern. get yourself a Panasonic battery-operated shaver. I switched over from blades about 7 years ago and never looked back. No soap and water etc, and you can shave anywhere, anytime. If you're interested, they are available at most 7/11's for 259 baht ( 2019 ) price. With good care, one can last about 4 years, shaving every day. Also, you'll need a charger and 2 rechargeable batteries. Thank me later

Unlocked all the way, especially when traveling internationally. I think Bangkok has two official Apple stores now, I have only been to the one at IconSiam, across the river.

can someone plz explain me so for what i trying to understand is if i buy a unlock phone i can go to mexico and buy a simcard from there and it will work on my phone then i go to guatemala and all i have to do is get a sim card from guatemala and it will work on my phone without activating the phone .

If you don't have a USA phone number and mailing address it causes issues. It is not if it will but when. I always have two phones, a iphone and a Android. We are always one slip of the hand away from dropping one and being empty handed. Its not worth the risk not to have a backup as it could happen at a real inconvenient time as things tend to do.

here in canada, if u have a locked phone, once your contract plan is over, u can ask the phone company to unlock your phone for free (u enter a code they give u and it unlocks). Do some research, i think u are american, it's probably the same... so your locked phones can be salvaged eventually (after your contract is done):)
