Phil and Justin respond to a question from a UH student about what to do about the "Maximum Hours Exceeded" error.
Depending on your campus and class standing, there are different maximum numbers of credits you can take in one semester. Check your school's website or contact your academic advisor for more details. In STAR, if you exceed this limit, you will be given this error. If you are below your campus' absolute maximum credit hour limit, you can contact the instructor or department to request an override.
