Someone who gains your support for doing nothing, will continue to do nothing when you put them in power. Why would she need to do anything to make your life better, when you already gave her power?

Make her do interviews, make her actually lay out plans, and ask her why she hasn't done anything to secure the border she is currently in charge of. She should be earning your support, not just getting it by default.

She could have been countered by the "is there a law that only affects a man's body" with the selective service. Only men have to sign up at 18 for the selective service in case there's ever a draft. The odds of one are incredibly low, but it does technically only affect men.
