I have a newer instant pot without the manual option. I just set it to the 3 mins on high pressure, and when it got to pressure and started its 3 min countdown, I set a 5 min timer on my phone. (to let it naturally release for 2 mins before I fully released pressure). This worked perfectly! Thanks!

I have a different brand of pressure cooker and just got it a little while ago and have been experimenting cooking things. I saw you, the other night, make mac and cheese. I was looking for a snack tonight for my fiancé and I and was looking through the cupboards, saw the box of mac and cheese! I have to try it! I have learned how to use my machine like the Instant Pot, so I did it, step by step, but in addition to the normal ingredients, I add jarred queso dip cheese. Oh my. In the 52 years I've been on this planet have I had PERFECT noodles! My fiancé was in awe, as well. Thank you, Lisa! I love your videos, too.
