A simple little exercise on how to give life to a sequence of notes by adding a whole host of bends á la David Gilmour.

Hope you find this interesting and helpful.

Thanks big time. Couldn't get too much of learning some lessons from you of David Gilmours playing techniques. Love his style and am really able to absorb your teaching. (12yrs of classroom lessons was never able to penetrate my thick skull). Keep on with D.G. please. I know you have lately.

I really enjoy this type of content. It helps me think about building guitar solos differently.

Great content. Thank you! I'm not sure if you like Billy Gibbons playing or not but if you've had other requests for zz top, would appreciate some of their song lessons as a series you just did on Gilmore. Billy's playing also has a lot of accenting the notes to make notes sound amazing like Gilmore. Zz top lessons on you tube are very limited only to some of the popular songs Luke LA Grange

You should absolutely make a lesson out of your outro solo. Its so Gilmour'esque it would be a pleasure to learn !

How do you know if a bend is full step or 2 step how do you accurate judge the distance so when you go to play you correctly know how to bend

Great title. I think Gilmour's physicality has to do something with his touch. He's got big hands and look like someone who should be shoeing horses and building furniture straight out of a tree. Yet, he's a gentle human who speaks fluent French.
