The problem with Marley is that her writing was straight trash they obviously didn’t care about the s4 newbies. But marleys vocals were just so amazing they were too good for the character they gave her

There was never a truly bad episode of glee. The twerking storyline was a MESS but this performance is just too good and makes up for it

Ryder's character is also very good. He had so much potential as he is very enthusiastic in his performances (pay special atention to him in this one), his reactions during other's performances and reactions during scenes. Looks like very cheerful personality, as a very good and fun friend

I love how meta this is-Will saying the ND needs and “old school performance” is a direct response to critics saying Glee’s magic was missing and the show needed to get back to its roots. This performance is a direct reflection of that
