Roblox FINALLY Confirms Big Update

Roblox has confirmed and is close to releasing the long awaited UGC Limited update.

I think my gut feeling for UGC limiteds is they will sort of be an "entry" for the average ROBLOX player to get into trading. Can the average ROBLOX player spend hundreds of dollars to get a Valkyrie Helm? Probably not. Can they spend idk 30 ROBUX to get a UGC limited and dip their toe in the world of trading? I think so.

As others pointed out, UGC limiteds arent bad, but roblox needs to make the requirements very hard to fufill to do UGC limiteds (I.e Must be verified, no UGC hat issues, etc.). Should be 15k to upload and only 1 limited per month, and needs mod approval, to ensure it is unique from ROBLOX limiteds. Or, if ROBLOX wants to keep UGCLimiteds and ROBLOX limiteds seperate, they could use that Limiteds 2 thats been spotted for UGC limiteds, so as to keep them seperate

The group one was absolutely required. Most of the time I see "bad" UGC items uploaded by groups who do it on purpose.

So, this might be way to much but this could lower the amount of limiteds.Maybe UGC creators should be able to make 2 limiteds within 1 to 4 months, it might be way to much but it could be a good solution or people get to pick one item that is not limited to become limited but only one item that is made by that creator and then you must wait 2 to 4 months to be able to vote again for one of the items made by that same creator.

I was hoping roblox would never do this as its just going to ruin the catalog. If you ask me, its a way of roblox saving money by getting the community to upload items instead of roblox thereselfs, meaning they save costs on wages. Roblox is going down hill every year, with games becoming boring and more money inspired.

Access to UGC limited should be given only to a small group of highly trusted creators, the vetting for it should be much more strict than normal UGC.

Limiteds are doomed.
Unless they give it a different icoon so you can see a difference between roblox limiteds and ugc limiteds.
But limiteds are doomed, Due most know most ugc items look far better then roblox limiteds.
It's a matter of time for every limited (aside of faces) to drop and die, Maybe the limiteds with a few 100 owners might be fine, depending the owners but yeah.
I don't really see limiteds or ugc limiteds doing well, it seems like a amazing feature, but it might doom roblox even further lol.

uhh alr, this update for people who like to dress up avatar will probably a little negative and worry about that one day the favorite items become limited and need to spend more robux to buy. I think Roblox can create a community to vote or comment so there is more discussion before deciding, this update definitely affect many people

Why doesn’t Roblox only allow only selected ugc members to be able to sell limited items? Or would this idea easily flop?

I feel like limited gear would be affected the least since no Ugc creators can make gear. Maybe the price on limited gear may go up, but who knows.

This is one of the stupidest things i have seen roblox do. Now limiteds wont be special anymore just normal ugc items onstead of the retro cool looking roblox limiteds that are rare.Dont get me wrong i like when the community is creative but ugc is just mostly random clothes and aesthetic things.
