The nice part about making these blinds yourself even though you can purchase very similar ones is that you can have unique one-of-a-kind and you can also use a roll of wallpaper from a second hand source and some people like to have unique one-of-a-kind anything and everything so thank you never had considered doing this before excellent idea.

Walmart sells the paper blinds that you cut to size of your window. It already has the tape, pleats only missing the 2 holes and string. They only come in solid colors.

I would use a flat wood plank with eye hooks, metal eyelets and jute twin string . I would want something that I can wash and change the shade.
