2015 VW Golf R400 - Start Up, Sound and more

supercarsofaustria spotted the brand new 2015 Volkswagen Golf R400 Concept. The Video shows: A walkaround, a start Up, driving scenses and then the new VW Golf R400 drove back to a truck. This was the first time that anyone could hear the sound of this car in puplic. Filmed in Vienna, Austria

Sad this won't make it into production. This is how the Golf R should have always looked in my opinion. I never liked how it really doesn't look too much different than a GTI. I get there's a significant performance increase but for almost 10k more, you definitely want some more exterior upgrades or nuances.

They definetly need to make this, VolksWagen need to get into the Real performance segment of cars, And this R400 is just the way to kick it off.

the british "car magazine" expects the insane sub 4sec GOLF R400 with about 420 hp  and max 450 Nm torque !!!

For those of you saying they will ship this car is wrong, they will ship the parts the their assembly warehouse in mexico and build them their like all vw models then will then be shipped to us by truck. There is a reason when I open my hood to my 20thgti is says right there assemble in mexico and with a little more research you will find it to be true too
