Dance is all about projecting. So if you project confidence in everything you're doing on stage (even if you "mess up") it's hard for the audience to notice. So Eve if you make a mistake or botch a move don't freeze just keep going like you meant to do that. I danced in performances for 10+ years. So top tips I would give is #1 arrive early, #2 bring extra/backup everything (hair pins, makeup, shoes, tights, etc) there's nothing worse than snagging your tights, or eating a snack and smudging your makeup and not being able to fix it. #3 'fake it till you make it' with confidence, #4 don't forget to show emotion with your face also (if you're face is looking overly concentrated/concerned people will notice and focus in on you) smile or make sassy expressions when called for, it adds alot to your performance (you'd be surprised how much!). You did amazing Payton! Stick with it and I know you will be just as successful as you are in everything you put your mind to! ❤

great job! i’ve been dancing for 10 yrs (i’m 12), started when i was 2, and i still get nervous going on stage even though i do comps and recitals. you did amazing for not dancing for that long, best i’ve ever seen someone get back into dancing after awhile! one again u did a amazing job in that jazz dance! great job! 💜💜
