Beryl Remains a Dangerous Category 4 Hurricane

The tropics are running hot with several areas of disturbed weather.

Record-setting Hurricane Beryl continues to race through the Caribbean as a Category 4 storm. This general movement will continue through the end of the week as it bypasses the island of Hispaniola and Jamaica. The storm is expected to slowly weaken as it moves into the western Caribbean. The NHC forecast has Beryl reaching the Bay of Campeche in the Gulf of Mexico this weekend.

Another tropical wave coming off the coast of Africa also has a low development chance.
