Part 6 of 6 - [DRILLS]

Simple drills you will need for rapid progress, do them daily for best results...

1) Feet Together Drill - This is a great drill for helping you to stay centered throughout your golf swing, also described as the Pivot. This is a great power source and also helps with strike because you have to maintain good balance and stability with the narrow stance. It will exaggerate how your arms should work in the swing like a sling shot action which is great for speed and strike.

2) Closed Stance Drill - Put you left foot forward and right foot back, when you transition into the down swing keep your back to the target as long as physically possible. This prevents your shoulders coming in too soon sending you over the top, and allows you to feel like you get your arms and club down first. It helps with the deceleration of the arms and getting the energy into the club head promoting a whippy / snappy release which is great for speed and strike gains, its the best way for me to describe to you how a sling shot action works and feels, which is exactly what we want to do when swinging golf clubs.

3) Football Drill (Swimming Pool) - This is a great drill to help you understand what happens if you come down too wide in transition (casting, losing your lag) also check out this link where I go into more detail on the forces in the golf swing and how you need to harness them to your advantage.

4) Tommy Fleetwood Stoppers - This is a great drill for improving your release, getting the built up energy into the club head and how to unload the GForce shaft through correct sequencing of the downswing, by forcing the arms to decelerate. Hit full shots and try stopping half way through. Stops you rushing the club through and if you have problems releasing it.

5) 1 Handed Swings (Alternating) - You need to feel the weight of the clubhead, this is the best way to do that and tap into the feeling of the momentum of the swing and allow your body to respond to the club. If you have awareness and allow your body to instinctively respond, you can then quickly figure out how to increase its speed through instinctively feeling how to do it, instead of thinking about positions and movements which will destroy your kinetic / muscular chain (Efficient Transfer of Energy)

Great drills to do with swing trainer, why would I be pulling shots? If you could point me in the right direction I did video myself with my mevo+ launch monitor and it looked so very slightly turning or starting with my shoulders coming over just so slightly and pull down on the shaft late but if you have anything else thanks
