Thanks a lot dude!! Very, very helpful. Kinda stupid but I spent a fortnight just to make my Samsung 980 nvme ssd show up in my MSI z170a gaming m5 bios only to find out that I have completely ignored the empty DVD drive connected to the 2nd SATA port. I updated my BIOS beforehand which I think wasn't needed.

Just disconnected the SATA, powered on and my SSD instantly got recognized. XD

HI!..Your video helped me out a lot. (It's 2021) I have an MSI MPG Z490 Gaming Wifi mobo, and installing Windows 10 PRO onto a WD_Black M.2 NVME (NZXT H710 chassis). Also, your advice to make sure to NOT connect a SATA drive was key information & very helpful. The ONLY slight difference I did was I used an older 2010 SATA Optical drive (temporarily on SATA 3) to install my O/S (Disk copy 64-bit OEM). I made my Optical Dive - Boot Sequence #1, and it worked. I wanted you to know that your video was very, very helpful to this viewer, PC builder, and Gamer. Thanks Rekk!!

When I switch from Legacy+UEFI to UEFI, everything in boot priority (usb with windows media creation file on it and brand new ssd) are no longer highlighted! What the hell!?
