Texas Gov. Greg Abbott orders hospitals to give info on migrants in country illegally

Texas Governor Greg Abbott issued an executive order last week which requires Texas hospitals to report costs of treating immigrants who entered the country illegally. Abbott says the goal is to make sure Texas is not taking on undue costs, while opponents say it will prevent some from receiving care.

While working in Texas as a travel RN, Mexican citizens crossed the border to deliver their “new” US infant citizen and then go home. They would come over for surgery etc and leave. If an illegal immigrant fell off of the wall and say broke their backs, they could stay in US for free treatment for life. We had 3 adult siblings that were on dialysis 3 times a week. No dialysis center would treat them due to lack of insurance. They were admitted to the hospital 3 days a week. ALL that I mentioned is paid for by tax dollars. It is much worse now.

Hospitals in NYC are now depending on taxpayer dollars to bill them out. Many of these people come into the hospital. Do not have an address. Cannot even speak English and come in with major diseases. The federal government currently run by Biden Harris and they should have to pay for this. Some of the major charitable hospitals throughout the United States, which rely on charitable contributions are now running low on money because as soon as people come over the border, they run to the cities with these large hospitals, relying on charitable contributions. The larger cancer center hospitals are now to the brim, especially if you contributed to them over the years, which they do have large drives during Christmas. Expect your family to never use these facilities. Well, I would say not, there’s no vacancies. AMERICANS, YOU’RE PAYING OUT OF YOUR OWN POCKET FOR PEOPLE COMING FROM OTHER COUNTRIES THAT SHOULD’VE BEEN TAKEN CARE OF IN THEIR OWN COUNTRY AND NOW RELYING ON YOUR MONEY TO TAKE CARE OF THEM. READ A STORY YESTERDAY THAT NURSING HOMES THROUGHOUT THE UNITED STATES ARE OVERFLOWED WITH PEOPLE LEFT AT THEIR DOORSTEP, ELDERLY PEOPLE FROM OTHER COUNTRIES SO THAT THEY CAN TAKE CARE OF THEM WHEN WE HAVE PEOPLE HERE. THEY’RE IN LINE. I’M SEVERAL WAITING LIST TO HAVE A ASSISTED LIVING AND NURSING CARE FACILITIES.
