Thanks to Hyperlite LED lighting for sponsoring this video!

Today I'm making all aluminum DIY Cornhole Boards. In the video I'll show you how I made the frames, added the folding legs, attached the top surface, logos, added Hyperlite LED lighting to the cornhole 'playing field'.... and finally played a bit of cornhole with the family! I hope this might give you some ideas for a Cornhole Project of your own. Let me know if you have any questions :) Joe

Here is the link to the lights I used in the video.

Very cool project and adorable helper. We used to make beanbag game boards (cornhole) out of plywood and 2x2's. Thanks for sharing and keep teaching your helper.

Impressed by welding in general. Aluminum welding takes it to a whole new level. Well done.

Awesome stuff. And appropriate timing. Just a week ago I was at a brewery and on the TV they had Collegiate Cornhole Championships going. I learned a lot more than I had ever wanted to know, like the correct weight, size, material, etc. Who knew it was a thing! Cheers Joe!

Wow, what a difference the new lights make. It gives much better visibility at night. I like the two adjustable lights for variety. The sanded/matte finish on the cornhole board looks really good- excellent choice. And, excellent shot, Trey!

YOUR little sweet girl was right. Sanding the aluminum made it look nicer and not so shiny. She could be a future designer.

He finally built some cornhole boards! Nice work Joe, I really like the aluminum body. I bet it's a lot lighter than the wood counter part. Those LED flood lights are insanely bright, I was thinking you could light a small football stadium with those bad boys!

Very nice boards! Im sure they are much lighter than wood boards. Those flood lights made a big difference, too. I hope no planes try to land in the yard...lol

Joe - so much awesomeness in this video!
1. I loved the intro - you should post a video on instagram of you saying "cornhole" 10 times trying to keep a straight face! ... and THEN challenge 10 of your favorite accounts to do it too - #cornholechallenge
2. The direction of the cornhole frame - while definitely stronger with the short side up, it also would be a few inches less of support for the aluminum top - if you were to do it again which way would you orient the frame?
3. Sanded aluminum top was a great choice - these are going to last for a LONG time!
4. Thanks for sharing the simple DIY way to build the frame - the several minutes you took to show us that adaptation just made this project achievable to everyone watching!
5.Those LEDs are awesome -- I really enjoyed your custom gutter mount - I'd guess we'll be seeing those in action in future videos too. Maybe add some magnets to them so you can stick them on the outside walls of the shop or awning as well?
6. Editing was fantastic - I really enjoy watching your videos - great infotainment that I look forward to!

All the best!
