Perfectly said. Nascar has created this fake drama, because they don't think the fans can live without its ridiculous playoff system. Anyone who can't live with some meaningless races, aren't really fans. I'd bet if they went back to the old system, winner of the most points during the season wins the championship, theyd be more popular

Walk a mile in a person's shoes, that's the expression, but change it to "Drive a lap in that driver's seat" Nobody & I mean NOBODY does that differently than Austin did in that circumstance!.. The 'System' is broke not the drivers.. if the same scenario happened 10 or a 100 times the result will be the same with Any driver scrambling to make the "playoffs"

No one has said anything about the wreck between Austin and Denny, look back at the event, cry baby Denny came up the track as Austin is coming, not exactly a right hook, where’s Austin suppose to go, he’s going straight by this time, Denny takes his lane away.

My solution? Go back to points prior to 2014 at least for the regular season. A lot of fans like myself would be disappointed but it could help with solving this issue.

People talk retaliation, remember retaliation runs the risk of another future retaliation …at a most costly time! Go get um AD. I agree with Kevin, the issue really should be wrecking Hamlin. But to muddy the waters even more is what logano did on pit road after the race. Spinning the tires of a wrecked car with people in front of him is bad. But to burn out with dillons family directly in front of his car is a completely separate issue. Not sure how that wouldn’t be worthy of a penalty or suspension.
