Piyush Goyal's NEW Silicon Valley of India 😮

preview_player
Показать описание
Piyush Goyal wants to build the new Silicon Valley of India. His vision is to create a 500-acre township dedicated entirely to entrepreneurs, innovators, and disruptors. India does have Bengaluru but the city faces constant problems like water shortages and worsening traffic. Most Indian cities aren’t designed to handle this kind of rapid population growth. This is why Piyush Goyal wants the National Industrial Corridor Development Corporation (NICDC) to lead this project. The NICDC is already developing smart cities like Dholera and Tumakuru. A planned township focused on innovation, infrastructure, and incubation could be exactly what India needs to take its startup ecosystem to the next level. But where should this new Silicon Valley of India be set up? Pune, Hyderabad, Chennai—or somewhere totally unexpected?

To grow startups like mushroom, you don't need a township. You need a bunch of quality university who gives the freedom to fail.

We need to implement the concept of Micro - Hub system in every state of the country where there would be a large number of opportunities available to every state. It's true that more developments are happening to Tier 1 cities and these developments are concentrated in some handful of locations. If the govt could implement a micro- hub project in every state of the country there would be lot of job opportunities and also there would be a large no of talents would be come in front to pursue their dreams to build a startups to bring more innovattion into the country . I think the time has come for the government to seriously consider this

It shouldn't be in Bengaluru any more, more new cities should be considered,
I'm from Bangalore, I would have expected Mysore to be considered by govt. after govt. was always focused on Blore and did nothing in improving, even when central govt. awarded IIT for Kar, state govt. didn't take it seriously, it should have been close to Bangalore, like Mysore, but it went to Dharward, look how IIT Hyderabad is and where IIT Dharward is.

India is vast, lets look over Blore and developed new cities.

It should be in MANGALORE, one of the cleanest and greenest city

It should be setup in some Union Territory like Daman or Chandigarh or Pondicherry where Central Govt has full authority and there'll be no need to take permission from any state govt. It'll remain free from centre-state politics.

NOIDA, as the Asia's biggest Airport is coming up over there.

Bangalore is already facing water crises and traffic congestion, even after so much rain this season. So need to look to other parts of the country, Bangalore can't handle anymore.

Udaipur! City of lakes is super clean + exquisite lakes and dams and hills around + hospitality culture + connectivity with top cities of India + beautiful hilly region around + "not so crowded still a small town that can be scaled up" + thousands of hotels from cheapest to the most expensive luxurious" + culture of education, children study a lot and gain great rankings in various exams" + "international airport infra already ready and waiting for approval" + "adequate water sources around" + "pollution levels very low" + "bullet train project too covers this". A solid silicon valley ecosystem can be built in this southern part of Aravali mountain range...

Navi mumbai is perfect. It has skilled people residing there itself and from Mumbai, Pune, Thane near by suburbs and cities.😊

Indore is a great city and someone commented about micro hubs that would be much much better because it won't concentrate the crowd to just one place and over it time it will become very expensive even for the locals and slowly the green area surrounding would be comercial too. People will be more business oriented and will get deviated from the roots as the business culture, you agree with it or not, becomes very toxic over night and Indore being such a calm and cool state shouldn't be intoxicated with this culture. It's much better to have a thriving micro hub at Indore and other major cities.

It should be next to bengaluru only, at the tri junction of 3 states, Karnataka, TN and AP. It will benefit from already Saturday bengaluru silicon valley, closer tp Chennai's industrial township Sriperumbudur and AP's electronic boom.

This will be a win win situation for 3 states and it will make use of already created massive infra in Bengaluru Chennai belt.
