The way she says "Guys, I gotta go. Take it easy." is perhaps the most non-comedic, understated acting of the entire series. It was Elaine's chance to exit her sitcom world and live a normal existence.

Which she promptly screws up in the next scene.

The whole thing is very Twilight Zone.
