The current Administration IS the National Emergency.

The Big Scam: One of the big challenges here is that wind and solar power plants have a much lower "capacity factor" than plants that run on fuel. A fuel-based plant can run around the clock (with breaks for maintenance), while wind and solar plants produce energy only when the wind is blowing or sun is shining. This energy is either used or lost (there is no huge battery storage for the U.S. grid).
The answer is nuclear, but that word leaves a bad taste in U.S. politicians' mouths. Although a nuclear plant and a wind farm might have the same "nameplate capacity" of 1 gigawatt, you'd actually need three or four wind farms that size to produce the same number of MWh as the nuclear plant.

Turbines should be placed in the halls of Congress. Lots of wind from both sides. Unlimited energy.

When the wind turbines fail to produce enough energy, he will blame “Climate Change”. I feel like we are abusing the elderly at this point, just retire Brandon.

Even if 20% of the country owned and EV, the electrical grid could never handle it. Wind power will never produce the amount of energy in its life time that it took to build it .

Using Sri Lanka as the model this plan makes total sense, especially with "Biden's" track record. Everything he's touched has been a DISASTER!

He and his quota driven admin are totally clueless as how to fix anything!

And each wind turbine take about 20 years to repay the cost to build and the carbon footprint it takes up!

Not a single wind turbine has paid for itself, but they sure have filled up the landfills with blades that will never decompose.

Sooo hes looking at taking more power illegally by declaring an emergency... not concerning at all.

Yes, windmills will really make an impact on the price of gas

Show of hands, who thinks Biden and other Dems have financial interest in wind energy?

Gee....I wonder how many windmills you need to 'actually' produce the raw materials for all those electric vehicles we're supposed to be buying....FOOLS

We've tried this before. A wind turbine blade plant was built in my town....it shut down before construction was even completed. Literally got the government subsidies....and never produced a single blade.

How are we going to transition to wind power when each windmill needs 50 barrels of oil to keep cool? We are doomed!

Manchin is one of the only Senators who still has a spine. Agree with his positions or not, he doesn't fold when he's told to fall in line

Thank God for Joe only viable option is nuclear power....
