I was a carpenter for the star wars set construction and watched the sword choreography and filming.

I really wish more films would use historic techniques in fight choreography. Once you know even a little about how sword fights actually went the crap on screen most places looks cheesy and fake. I love how this chanel shows how real techniques can look just as cool (cooler imo) than stupid "cinematic" fights with just a bit of exaggeration in the movements.

I'm excited for your hard guys are wise to evolve the European choreography to compete with all the Asian work. I can see from some of your resume that you guys have worked with Asian martial art choreographers and how you guys adapted the historical European swordplay. Awesome work!!! As a suggestion to expand your achievements you guys should submit a Lightsaber duel and compete in one of those choreography settings....that would be exciting!!!! I larp in one of the biggest larps in canada..ive been trained by some amazing instructors, so i can appreciate good technique and choreography. This was fantastic! Loved the motions and the finese involved with this video, perfect form in all thes swordsmen! Love it!
