Making DECISIONS and TAKING ACTION in the midst of CHAOS: Observe, Orientate, Decide, ACT! OODA.

Показать описание
Those with military background may already know this. Leaned this from Jocko Willink's book "Extreme Ownership." It's so applicable to the chaos at home, office, relationships, and every day life.
Observe what is going on, the lay of the land. Be objective. Just take it in calmly.
Orientate where is your ultimate goal or desire. Prioritize all the factors on the table.
DECIDE what you are going to DO. Decisive Action! (Feels good to just say those words, doesn't it?) Keep this simple, surgical, and focused.
ACT. Move out, troops. Follow me.
Yeah, there's some gut instinct/intuition, some common sense, and some nuances of your mastery and relationship to the situation.
And then REPEAT! It's a process of constant improvement. Kaizen.
Wishing you all the best.
