The reason that all Model 3s are eligible for the full tax credit is due to language buried in the IRA. In simple terms they can average the percentages across all trims of a single model sold in the US to reach the eligibility threshold. An example would be 100%, 25%, and 25% from the performance, long range, and rear wheel drive, respectively. Would give an average to the model at 50%.making all trims eligible.

I love you guys. I have been watching you for the last couple of years even before I got my 2021 Model Y. You really helped me learn about Tesla and EVs in general. Lately though, I find myself skipping your weekly video more often than I would prefer. The main reason is that due to timing, most of your topics have already been covered pretty thoroughly before your show airs on Tuesdays. Not sure what the answer would be but just seems like everything you cover has already been discussed on several other channels pretty thoroughly several days earlier. It makes me wonder if you might want to consider twice a week or even 3 times a week updates? I still watch 40% to 50% of the time, but that is just because I like you two and love your face talking inserts.

I just find it harder to sit down for an hour and watch 80% to 90% repeat of information. It just feels like old news by the time your air on Tuesdays.

I still have your channel subscribed and will still watch when I can. Just wanted to provide some feedback for your consideration.

7:40, not correct. This Plaid is with the new speed limit of 200 mph but after 6 minutes of intense track driving the power train is overheating so at the last straight it "only" has about 600 bhp available... this new run was with the brand new Goodyear tyres and carbon ceramics brakes.

At 20Hz, the wavelength of sound is 60 about feet. At 80Hz, the wavelength of sound is about 14 feet. How in HECK is one going to have phasing problems between two subs in that truck? Unless they aren't wired incorrectly, or something is acting as some kind of wacky loooong waveguide, or they're located at opposite corners of the Cybertruck, how in the heck is that going to happen?

Phasing issues with multiple subs in a car is a non issue, and its because the waves are so large. I mean this does and can occur to some small amount, but not often, and its usually easily resolved in car audio. both car manufacturers and aftermarket car audio have been doing this for years without issue.

19:36 most professional set ups have multiple subwoofers. In a movie theater for example, there’s not one subwoofer. Sonos supports two subwoofers and it’s a great way to have distributed bass without having very loud sounds come from one area of a large room. Phasing issues are not present as they are handled by software.

for the facial recognition: it is NOT two cameras, the reason its infrared is because it projects that grid of dots in infrared on you and based on how they scatter it reads the 3D shape of a face. This is how the original XBox kinect worked. You would in fact need a decent 3D scan and 1:1 print of someone's face to defeat it. Unsure how material would affect it, or if the AI software would be smart enough to tell between a statue and a living person, though if anyone has this you can try it with any statue you already have, setting that as the driver's face first then trying to unlock.

Two subwoofers? - Maybe they don't serve the music, but the suppression of driving noise (active noise cancellation)?

In theory a battery boat could make sense in certain situations. Wires over long distance lose a lot of power whereas boats can be extremely efficient at slow speeds and large scale. Intuitively it does seem ridiculous though, the setup cost would be insane and in 99.9% of cases there's going to be better solutions.

The 2 subs are powered by the 48v architecture. The rest of the speaks are line powered from the "head unit." That's why they don't show up.

All they need to do is have an RFID chip in each tire that has its own designated serial number to keep track of the mileage per tire. GE refrigerators do this with water filters to get customers to purchase a new water filter within the 6-month period.
