Since the dawn of history, populations of human beings have always broken themselves into different groups for easy running societies. In Ososo community, there are six of such groups called Imini Iyan and they Ekpe, Ughor, Ushi, Ugbada, Okheni and Ukpanozah, all of them cut across the 5 Unuku of the land… The word Imini Iyan, when used literarily, translates to “siblings of the same mother”, and when used colloquially, defines the core of the family setting of Ososo people.
