My daughter got hit HARD broadside in her 2010 Escape. She did a complete 360 spin and wound up in the ditch across the street. The Escape preformed perfect. Minimum intrusion and she walked away unharmed. My opinion? YES Escapes are very safe!! We are getting her another one. ( I still drive my 2011 Escape. And I will until the wheels fall off! )

Scary! Friend of mine totaled his escape hybrid 8 months ago in a spin. Front, side and rear damage. NO airbag deployment. Was out with chest and back injuries for 3 months. Just had back surgery as a result of the crash and may be out another 6 months. Cheesy and cheap vehicle.

The 2012 Chevrolet Suburban, 2011 Ford Escape, 2011 Nissan Rogue, and 2012 Dodge Durango.
Some in prior testing have too, but not a lot.

Pretty red thing. Too bad it had to be sacrificed lol. I love my Mariner.

Not necessarily these have no forward force.. And ull be okay. Wear your seatbelt

The Escape earned an overall of Three Stars, while the CR-V earned Four Stars overalls.
Both driver ratings were Three Stars.
If you're going to start a conversation, at least get your facts straight.

Maybe, but it wouldn't matter... it's very survivable.

it will roll if you are parked or at a stoplight (when the car is not moving). and if it roll not a problem you will be safe WHIT YOUR SEATBELTS ON'

:| this is a surprise forme for the poor escape what is Ford Motor Company doing i think the cars are getting day by day more light and more expensive :s I mean i love ford my mom have a 08 Ford Escape i think its better then the 2011 Ford Escape
