Osmo Action On Phantom 1 - Do you really need a gimbal?

I've had the original DJI Phantom for many years now and still enjoy flying it. But until recently, I never considered it a drone I could use for video because it lacks a gimbal. With the DJI Osmo Action, you don't need a gimbal. DJI's Rocksteady electronic image stabilization works very well to smooth out bumpy or shaky footage. But how will it look on a drone with no gimbal? We put that theory to the test by mounting the DJI Osmo Action on the DJI Phantom 1. Technology is definitely advancing at an incredible rate. Just look at the improvements between 2013 and 2019 in Phantoms as well as action cams

If you shoot in 60fps the footage will look more shaking. You do Know the osmo has 4k 30 fps right? That looks more stable

Loved it..they have a single axel gimbal 50g or so but it's kinda new..n spendy..
