Can’t help imagining the thousands of gifted pianists who devoted their lives to music and never became composers because they weren’t trained on this other side of music, or their teacher forbade it and loaded them with tasks rather than knowledge.

imagine how good classical improvisation could get if it was taught to children! most getting into classical improv seem to be college age or older.

It only seems ridiculous because, I guess, the guild intervened and chopped out a very juicy bit between 8 and 9. Fantastic lecture.

Hi I have followed you a lot and also learned something from your many amazing videos, but I lose something in my translate into Danish. What is your relationship with Denmark? I see you have a Danish name. Do you speak Danish? Is it possible to gain some of this newer compositional knowledge in Danish? Are there any thoughts of having your latest book translated into Danish?🗺🎹🎼🎵📄➕➖➗‼⁉
