Kisumu court of appeal nullifies election of Shinyalu MP Silverse Anami Lisamula

The court of appeal in kisumu has nullified the election of shinyalu mp silverse anami lisamula.
The appellate judges onyango otieno, patrick kiage and agnes murgor ruled this morning that the election in shinyalu on march 4th was marred by violence that affected the final outcome. Just 6 months ago the high court in kakamega upheld the election of anami as shinyalu mp, but the poll loser justus kizito went to the court of appeal to challenge the decision. Now the court of appeal says the high court was wrong in dismissing the petitioner's request for scrutiny and recount of the votes.
