Where I live, Post Masters and Post Mistresses were always considered to be highly respected members of the communities they served.The damage done to the victims and their families and even their communities is irreparable. Even if a correct and justifiable compensation is paid to the victims, the overall damage to that once highly respected position in the community has been severely damaged. I sincerely hope that justice is done completely where the guilty serve the sentences that they should serve under the full weight of the law.

CWU was working progressively on the Horizon scandal long before the Mr Bates drama captured the hearts of the nation. Shame it took a TV drama to shine a light on this incredible injustice and elevate the potential for access to justice for these victims. There are far too many people experiencing miscarriages of justice - Orgreave, Grenfell, Hillsborough, Blood scandal are just a few that spring to mind... there are too many and it is time all these cover-ups are exposed and people get treated with the dignity and respect they deserve
