Ibanez FRH10N Nylon Classical Acoustic Electric Guitar | Review and First Impressions #ibanez

Hey guys, I bought another guitar and I’m really loving it. As a matter fact I’m playing it more than any of my other guitars. I’ve been looking for something that I can still play classical guitar music on without my thumb joint absolutely killing me and I think this Ibanez Classical guitar is definitely what I’ve been missing. I only used my iPhone to record this video and I don’t think it quite captured the sound as good as it could’ve been but hopefully you’ll get the idea and definitely be watching out for more videos of me playing through various tunes using this guitar.

I like these, as it's not so jarring when you regularly swap between steel string guitars and classical/nylon — which I do often — and it's _way cheaper_ than Martin's version, which also appeals to players of both nylon and steel with its similarly narrower nut width.
Anyways, I enjoyed your take on this one!

I have the same thumb issue and I just ordered this guitar also...ok. so i was able to sit down at guitar center and play this Ibanez and the similar cordoba stage...i am a finger player and it was a toss up for me...the Cordova has a better unplugged sound and its a pretty guitar with the high gloss finish but the neck on the Ibanez was so comfortable..the action was better on the Ibanez...if you can, sit down and try both guitars...the Godins are higher quality and price but a heavy guitar...so not for me. 0:12

Nice review. I'm not musical, but was interested when I saw what it looked like. It was very unusual to not have a hole on the front, but it sounded great!

I got the same guitar but mine came with Ibanez preamp & tuner. I chose this over the cordoba stage because of the tuner

I am looking at one of these for the same reason... getting old and struggling with the 2" classical. This seems like a good compromise between that and a 1.75" electric or steel acoustic. Seems like the newer ones have different electronics.

Hey Brian! That is a beauty looking guitar my friend. Wow! And yes I do know (as I suspect most do) how it goes proclaiming I am not going to buy anymore such & such! Lol! I'm certainly no axe efficienado, but you did a great job of describing it, visually and audibly. Love the show 'n tell! Sounds fantastic even through the phone. I’ve got the tobacco burst on layaway. While playing very little on it before I put it up to purchase I noticed the action to be fairly high when traveling up the neck. Is this typical of a classical style guitar?

Estudio in E minor by Tarrega. The father of classical guitar :) You can barely hear the bass notes, not sure if that is the recording or the guitar. Sounded better when amplified though.

These shipping companies have been getting pretty crazy in how they handle packages. It really is a pretty piece of wood. It’s a very interesting looking guitar. I’ve not seen one like it, but then I don’t shop for them. I suppose those who play guitar may be familiar with that style. Nice little tune. Almost sounds familiar to me. I don’t know why. Has it been in a movie or tv show? I think the sound is good. But I’m definitely not an expert. Haha you admitted there was supposed to be no guitars this year. Too funny! Well you made it a couple month into the year before caving. Guess that’s not bad 😂
