That is a bright keyboard, love that it has a metal casing, the plastic ones are fine but they tend to move around a bit, with the weight of the metal that should be reduced. The detachable cable is a great addition as well. Excellent video Dave and the second camera is fantastic.

I've just seen this video and I am typing my response to you using the same model that you reviewed, got to agree, it is a very nice keyboard, just about to install the nGenuity software to have a play with the settings and see what else I can do with it.

Love the video, but thought I would explain the second USB cable, it's not a replacement, it is a Power passthrough, you can plug your Smartphone in and it will charge the phone, as far as I know, it will only supply power and won't allow data connection as this can prompt a dialog and interrupt your gaming session if you plug in to charge whilst gaming.

Keep up the good work, for future videos it would have been good to see you show what the nGenuity software allows users to do.

I have this keyboard for about two weeks. After a week I had to change mine because the right shift stabilizers were scratching a lot especially when pressed on the edges even in the middle. I changed it and it's much better although it still does it a little when pressed at the edges but it's OK. This is an actual common situation because the right shift key is quite long. I can fix this and all other stabilized keys but this would imply loosing the warranty because two of the screws are located beneath the rubber feet. As a remark, if you can't test the keyboard in the store when buying it, if you have this issue too, change it immediately. I am very pleased with this keyboard and even though is a linear switch keyboard I adapted pretty fast at typing on it. Maybe is better than other linear switch keyboards because the key travel is shorter than a cherry linear. In games is absolutely perfect. All the keys work fine and are super fast. Also I just love the lighting, I just let it on auto( rainbow effect) . HyperX were very clever when designing the key caps letters/word printings, because the are illuminated uniformly. For example on some keyboards like ASUS Strix Tactic keyboard, the Shift text on the Shift key is longer and is not lit up all the way to the margins of the word. The software works well and the macros can be set pretty easily. As for the fact that it has a USB charge only feature, it's no big deal breaker. Instead I like the fact that the cable is detachable and is mini USB and not micro USB. This way you can color coordinate your keyboard cable to match your desk color theme, not to mention that is a good feature for those who travel at LAN parties.

Not sure is anyone has said but the reason for the 2 usb cables on the keyboard, one powers the keyboard and the other powers the usb output for you phone, tablet ect :)

Great video! I just was wondering, should I get it because a lot of people have been saying they can't get used to the fast actuation speed. Did you have any mistypes yet?

Being a former owner of the original alloy fps I was let down with this not in terms of performance and build but with what it comes with. The original came with a traveling pouch and some extra key caps and a keycap puller. This one literally came with nothing I hope they add the accessories that they used to add with everything.
