Neo Zen

Pros: Bouncy supercritical TPU midsole delivers consistent performance even in subfreezing temperatures; one-piece upper provides a mostly comfortable and secure fit; feels like a lower-stack, more durable version of the Neo Vista.

Cons: lack of stability, foam too soft for some runners

Novablast 5

Pros: Softer ride compared to the V4; improved upper structure enhances forefoot security; highly durable outsole; maintains an excellent price.

Cons: Traction issues similar to the V4 may persist.

The OG Novablast will always be the GOAT to me! That shoe was wild, unstable, but it was so fun to put miles in!

Great comparison review Ed, I've got the novablast 5 think it's great, but also think the neo zen might be as good if not better, like the sound of the midsole, outsole and a bit lighter..🙂👍

Great review! What makes you take off 1.5 points for the Zen's outsole? Is it that it's still not grippy enough (like compared to puma grip or conti) or something else?

5mm of foam compression on the Novablast 5 after 100 miles.
Wonder how the foam compares on the Zen

All you have to do now is add in the Evo SL to the mix... How big of a shoe collection do you actually have?😆
